Hi Natural Areas Action Team members!

The BSWCD is looking for volunteers for a weed pull two weeks from now. This is a great opportunity to engage with a local conservation organization. Public access is also limited, so you'll be seeing a place others rarely get to! Very cool.

Click here for the website describing lupine meadows.

Also check out the Conservation Calendar for other volunteer opportunities happening this week!

Thanks,

Lauren

Details for the event below----->

A Meadow Knapweed Pull Event - it's for the butterflies!

Please help pull knapweed near Lupine Meadows May 28 from 9-11 am!  Lupine Meadows is a Greenbelt Land Trust property near Philomath.  This invasive weed is a threat to the native ecology of this meadow.  We'll supply the vests, bags, shovels, and snacks.  You bring your mask and gloves fit for weed pulling.  Please contact Michael Ahr (mic...@bentonswcd.org) to sign up and Michael will provide more specific directions on where to meet.  This event is organized by Benton Soil and Water Conservation District and Benton County Public Works.
