Water Action Team –
Weekly Update – This past week (Dec. 21-26) we:
Work Party Schedule – Dec. 28-29
This week, only have two scheduled work parties again and we will focus those again on the Bald Hill Natural Area. Weather predictions looks good for those two days. I will put off the plantings at our Mill Race site (Amefa) and log placing at the Bald Hill Natural Area until the sun peaks out again.
Following are the scheduled planting days this week.
Let me know if you plan to participate on either of these scheduled planting parties. Also let me know if you can bring a shovel or need for me to provide one for you.
Thank you for all of your work. We have done a lot this year. After Jan 1st, I will provide you with a 2020 end-of-the-year annual report for our team.

I live within the traditional homeland of the Ampinefu Band of Kalapuya. Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya …Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations at either Grand Ronde or Siletz. Today, Kalapuya live either within the tribal reservations or in communities throughout the region. Many Kalapuya are active members of the sovereign nations of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde or the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians. Kalapuya culture is alive.
