The Maudella Taylor lot is located at 1437 11th Ave and we'd like to have it ready by July 23rd, Ms. Maudella Taylor's 100th birthday, so that we can dedicate this community garden in her memory. To reach this goal, we need weed barrier fabric, mulch, and top soil for the raised beds. Also, we need someone to till select areas so that we can planting areas for things like watermelon, cantaloupe, strawberries, etc. We have the plants, we just need the ground tilled so that we can plant.

Also, at 1129 Minton St, our Eagle Scout in-training Nikul Patel needs help transforming this lot into a biking path and berry-fruit garden for area children to safely play and ride their bikes. To this end we need mulch, good top soil, lots of weed barrier fabric and some fine gravel for the bike paths. If you can lend a hand, we need help with clearing weeds, planting, laying down weed barrier fabric, and spreading mulch and gravel. Also, edging material is needed for the bike paths.

If you can assist with this either in material donations or in physical labor, we would greatly appreciate your help BIG TIME :)
