Come Kids of All Ages and Parents to
"Spookytown" and "Haunted Garden"
Sponsored by
The A.D. Lewis Community Center and Boy's Club
and the
Huntington Community Gardens
Today, Thursday Oct. 21st, from 6:30-8:30pm, Kids of all ages are invited to visits some Free Halloween Events: "Spookytown" at the A.D. Lewis Community Center and Boy's Club at 1450 AD Lewis Ave., and then finishing up in the "Haunted Garden" just out back at 1437 11th Ave. The AD Lewis Center, with the help of area youth, numerous volunteers, and the Huntington Community Gardens are hosting this event and welcome one and all.
There will be free food, hot apple cider, games, a costume dance, ghost stories, a Haunted Trail, prizes, and much more. Donations have been made by many area businesses and organizations to this event, but supplies are limited so come early.
I'd like to thank the "F.u.n.k.y. G.a.n.g." kids, for their many hours of work transforming the overgrown lot at 1437 11th Ave. into what has been dedicated as the Maudella Taylor Garden, a beautiful green space for all in the neighborhood to enjoy. Today, they hope to share a bit of a scar and fun with local children, so stop by to see their Haunted handiwork.
