Reporting to the Head of Data Services, the Data Curator and GIS Librarian serves as a specialist for research data management, data curation, and Libraries liaison for GIS and spatial data. The grade range is $55,600.00 - $94,900.00 / Annually (the Hiring Range is $55,600.00 - $75,000.00 / Annually)

The University Libraries is implementing a new data repository in 2023, and the Data Curator and GIS Librarian would be a part of its launch. Including the incumbent, the Data Services team is currently made up of five professionals who work very collaboratively to deliver our core services of data sharing and curation, data management, data exploration, data literacy, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
