The cremation service is set up to begin at AS Turner and Sons Funeral Home (2373 North Decatur Road, Decatur, 30033) at 2:00 PM on Wednesday November 29, 2023. Please join in to be with the bereaved family members during these difficult hours.
Name: Late Nar Bahadur Rai
Date of Birth: 03-01-1940
Died on: 11-27-2023
Lt. Nar was born in Labrang, Bhutan on 03-01-1940. After the movement, he fled Bhutan with
his family and lived in Beldangi -I Refugee camp from 1991 to 2013.
He was resettled in Atlanta GA, with his family in July 2013 through the 3rd country Resettlement program.
Lt. Nar was living with his daughter and her family at 1458 Idlevale Dr., Tucker, GA 30083. He
was a simple and hardworking and a family man. He will be missed by his family and friends dearly.
He is survived by his only daughter, son-in-law and 4 grandsons.
The cremation date, time and details will be updated soon.
