In going through the businesses in my area, I found that a bunch of
businesses, many of them chains, have taken ownership of their
listings. (Good for them!)

However, they have not bothered to relocate their markers, so they're
located at crossroads, or down the street from the business, etc. This
is not unusual for listings in my area, but I've been able to correct
those that are not "owner-verified".

Is there a way to make these corrections? My suggestion is that even
when a business owns the listing, the community should be able to
correct the marker location, and perhaps it can go through an addition
step where the business owner can verify the change. (Maybe even a
time period, after which the change goes through normal channels for
verification if the owner doesn't respond?)

Hi Robin,
Claimed business listings are not editable by anyone except for the
business owner. However, in such cases, you can post links to these
listings so that we can verify it with the listing's owner.
