If Range Road was washed out last week you'd never know it now. Took a
drive down there tonight and the road looks perfectly fine!

I think the press report was a little misleading. Should have read
flooded, not washed out.

Road damage occured over the waterline trench at the bottom of two
hills because the groundwater infiltrated the trench which is a clay
soil. Underdrain did not pick it up either. The water pressure at the
low point caused the "blow out". Not to worrry as the pavement is only
the base.

I think Greg Fisher rode his bike on Range Rd on Saturday with no problems?

I also drove the entire thing Tuesday and saw no signs of washout or gravel - just smooth pavement on the newly redone areas and the same crap towards the end near Bruce Hill Road. Nothing out of the ordinary.
