to Community Cycles Volunteer Opportunities
Here is a wonderful opportunity to volunteer and help out Community cycles at the same time.

Centurion Cycling series is coming to Lyons! Read below for info on this cycling series/race. Since you all are great marshals, cyclist and volunteers I thought you might be interested. If you want to volunteer (or know anyone who would like to), the website is below. If you do volunteer, there is a place on the registration form for you to fill in if you are affiliated with a group, this is the place to fill in Community Cycles as your group. If you fill in Community Cycles as your group we might receive $200 or a $500 donation for bringing in 10-25 volunteers (see below). Tell all your friends!

Hope to see you all out there.

Thanks
Malinda

Centurion Cycling is a national "gran fondo" style cycling series and the first event will be held in Lyons on July 18th. There are 3 race distances- 25 , 50 and 100 miles. It will be chip-timed, closed roads, mass-start, etc. Volunteers are needed, mainly course marshals to help with the inaugural race on Sunday, July 18th.  Its a time commitment of 4 hours, 5 hours max. Volunteers will receive a T-shirt, lunch, raffle tickets and (if of age) tickets to our beer garden hosted by Oskar Blues. Course marshals are mainly needed in Lyons, left hand canyon, Ward and Jamestown. They will be making $500 donations to groups that bring 25 people, or $200 for 10-15 people. People can also volunteer pre-race to waive the entry fee, in case any of you wanna race!

Here's a link to their new video if you want to check it out! It shows what is going on better than I can explain.
