Join the National Young Farmers Coalition (NYFC) along with our Washington chapter (WAYFC) for a free FSA Loan workshop! A light dinner will be provided, and casual conversation over beers will follow the workshop at a nearby pub.  NYFC is partnering with the USDA's Farm Service Agency (FSA) to increase awareness about federal loan programs that can benefit young farmers. These workshops will feature a panel of farmers with experience getting FSA loans, a presentation by a local FSA loan officer, and a Q and A where you can ask about how these programs might work for you.

When we asked you what you wanted to see more from WAYFC, you told us you were interested in educational events and learning about financial options. The result is this workshop cohosted by the Farm Service Agency, Washington Young Farmer's Coalition and National Young Farmer's Coalition.

This workshop will feature a panel of farmers with experience getting FSA loans, a presentation by a local FSA loan officer, an overview of the SCORE program and its new affliation with FSA, and a Q and A where you can ask about how these programs might work for you. For questions or further information, contact cai...@youngfarmers.org or wayoun...@gmail.com.

A light dinner will be provided, and casual conversation over drinks will follow the workshop at a nearby pub.

Also! Don’t forget to mark your calendars for our Annual Mixer and Dance, in Walla Walla on October 8th.
