SlaveryFootprint.org is an award-winning survey designed to educate individuals on how their consumption habits are connected to labor slavery. Through rigorous research, we have been able to calculate the number of forced laborers it takes to make some of your favorite products, from cars (9 slaves) and smart phones (3.2) to iPods (3.9) and espresso machines (2.5). After answering a series of questions about your consumption habits, the site will determine your Slavery Footprint- the number that represents how many slaves work for you. We're creating momentum in the marketplace for goods made without slave labor but we can't do it without you.
