Hello, 

 

Thank you so much for joining us yesterday for the first Green Schools Campaign Orientation Call! We hope you were able to learn more about this campaign and how you and your community might get involved.  

 

You can find the slides from the call here. If you couldn’t make it or know someone who would be interested in Green Schools Campaign, we are hosting another orientation call on Monday, July 22 at 7pm ET. Folks can register here. 

 

As we mentioned on the call, there are a couple of routes folks can now take if you are interested in being part of Green Schools Campaign: 

 

🌟 Sign up as an official Green Schools campaign team: This is for folks who already have a campaign team ready and are in a position to start the campaign with support from the Climate Reality team.  

• As an intergenerational campaign, there will be some additional forms we are asking both students and adult mentors to each fill out once signing up through this form to be able to build safe and sustainable organizing spaces. If you have any questions about those forms, please reach out to us at youthp...@climatereality.com. 
• Once your team has signed up, Climate Reality will reach back out to schedule a one-on-one onboarding session to get you started. 
• We’ll also be following up these orientation calls with a series of skill-building calls beginning in August, the first being on Campaign Planning and Strategy. Be sure to sign up so you don’t miss it!

 

🌱 Meet with the Youth Engagement Team: This is for those wanting to start a team but would like to learn a little bit more about what joining Green Schools Campaign may look like and mean for them.
