HOME EFFICIENCY REBATES (HER) INFORMATIONAL MEETING

Join us for an informational stakeholder meeting on May 21, 2024 at 1:30 PM to hear about the Commonwealth’s plans to implement the Home Efficiency Rebates (HER) program, established through the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022.

Register Here

Project leaders from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency will share their progress in developing a statewide HER program for the affordable multi-family housing sector and will preview plans to release an upcoming Request For Proposals (RFP).

The HER program will make nearly $130 million available to Pennsylvania in the form of rebates that can dramatically reduce the cost of whole-building energy efficiency upgrades.  The program promises to significantly reduce energy costs for both tenants and affordable housing providers, helping preserve quality affordable housing and improve the lives of low income families across the state.

The meeting will allow stakeholders and other interested constituents the opportunity to learn about the agencies’ plans for the program and provide feedback about program design and procurement objectives.

As a critical stakeholder in the success of this program, we strongly encourage you to attend and welcome you to share this invitation with colleagues and other interested organizations!

When: May 21, 2024, 1:30 – 2:30 pm
