Subject: 6pm ET Wed: Bill McKibben + Climate Advocates Make the Case for Solar!

 Upcoming Event

Dear friends—

I feel like I've been talking about solar power nonstop for the last couple of weeks—The New Yorker published an excerpt from my new book that went kind of viral, and The New York Times published my op-ed making the case that we still have a chance for progress despite the fossil-fueled administration.

But all of these are just ways to build up to Sun Day—which is gaining serious traction, with nearly a hundred events already scheduled around the country with more getting added all the time.

Join us tonight as we hear solar solutions stories from diverse advocates around the country, including a climber turned climate activist, a filmmaker, a legislator, and an environmental justice advocate. Third Act staffers and I will share how you can play a key role in Sun Day and how our collective efforts can grow our movement and speed up solar. I'll give you some sense of how this fits into the global fight, and my colleagues will get down to the nitty-gritty!

We don't want to waste any energy—including the momentum that's starting to build!
