Full-JS event to promote SSJS to french companies

Hi,

As you might now I'm used to promote SSJS and CommonJS ;-)

I actually participate in the preparation of an event dedicated to the
promotion of SSJS as a serious option to build business applications,
either desktop, client-server, web, or cloud.

This event will take place on March 15th in Paris

Even if most talks will probably be in french we'd like to give the
opportunity to the main SSJS solutions contributors to present their
own points of view.
They could explain:
- why they choose to implement or work on SSJS?
- how was made the choice of the engine?
- where do members of their community mostly come from? with which
background?
...

A contest is meant to start this december, inviting French developers
from any community to choose a SSJS solution to build an application
matching one of five topics:
- interoperability
- innovation
- embeded JS
- JS desktop application
- development tools

For this contest, I will provide a toolbox page listing SSJS solutions
with some of their main advantages. Any help / contribution to do it
will be welcome.

For now, Wakanda and Joyent are already represented, it would be great
to have people to represent other solutions like Ringo, GPSEE, APE,
Narwhal, Akshell... or more generally CommonJS.

I would be more than happy to help, although you know how bad my French is.

Perhaps as part of the contest you could also collect some feedback on what the developers are looking to get out of server side JavaScript and the main challenges they face when they decide to use it.

Oh and do include Common Node as well ;)
