Hello Coordination,

I hope this email finds you all well.  The next coordination meeting will be Tuesday, July 10th, at 3:30pm in b028.  Please note the meeting is one hour earlier to accommodate those who would like to attend Green Drinks (more information to come tomorrow).

Please email me any agenda items you may have or add them to http://www.uvic.commonenergy.org/wiki/Issues_for_the_next_Coordination_meeting.

Thanks,

Mark

Hey all,

I once again must send regrets. Unfortunately I have to work at 3:00 this
Tuesday. I will watch the Minutes for the developments of the conference
planning and the lecture series.

Signatorially,
Greeno

Suggestion for Coordination Team Meeting for Tuesday July 10th

I usually just go to the Development meetings but...can come to coordination this week if...

Can we meet en route or pause halfway at Six Mile Pub so we don't miss the Green Drinks?

This is really a key networking event and we can bring extra copies of the  CE Report or an Exec Summnary to hand out.

Ideas? Maybe meeting downtown at 4:30 would work too?

Maeve

And. . . Just around the Corner on Tuesday July 10th (6-8)

The Great Green Drinks, Royal Roads, BBQ and Sustainability Challenge

Haven't heard about it? Here is a Link describing the event.

This promises to be one of the most successful Green Drinks anywhere.

People will come running, walking, in hybrids of every kind, electric vehicles, trucks (bio-diesel of course) bikes, kayaks ~ even one person on horseback!

Good food, gracious setting, excellent exhibits, lots of fun. Dont miss out!

Here are three related opportunities:

1. Going to RR from downtown on Tuesday July 10th?

Whether you go by bike or car please know that Dockside Green representatives will give three short (10-12 mins) talks at 3, 4 and 5pm at Dockside (standing on Harbour Road just beyond the Princess Mary complex)

Its an occasion to explain the who, why, what and where of Canada's (if not the world's) greenest development. This $700M project is winning accolades from leaders all over the world but do you really  know what is going on right here in Victoria? If not, heres your chance to find out. Just turn up at the appointed times and listen before setting out for the BBQ at RR by road or by Galloping Goose.

2. Biking to RR from Saanich or Sydney on Tuesday July 10th?

Gather at 4:30 on the Goose by Darwin, close to Saanich Hall.
The group organized by Ron Carter, 475-5526,  will head off at 4:45 after linking up with those who plan to comedown  from the north (via Lochside trail and vicinity)

3. An Offer from The Victoria Car Share Coop

Members of The Victoria Car Share Coop are offered the use of any available car share cars free of charge - if driven by car share members to this RR event and who are taking others (hopefully 3 or more) (all cars hold 5, van holds 7).

Please help make this a memorable event by investing yourself in it. Without you it wont be the same :)

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, I have to work until 4 downtown. I can, however, take a bus and meet you all at Green Drinks!

Cheers,
Heather.
