About Public Hours: Volunteers during Public Hours range from interested newbies to experienced mechanics, and we help all kinds of cyclists fix all kinds of bikes. Visitors are welcome to seek help from volunteers or make use of community tools to do maintenance and repair or work on their own.
This Saturday: Smart Cycling Short Course
Last call to sign up! This course, by the Bicycle Alliance of Washtenaw, is designed to help adults and teens navigate real-world riding environments safely and confidently.
Participants will learn practical skills for riding safely in traffic, understanding different types of bike infrastructure, and making confident decisions on the road. The course includes a mix of brief instruction, on-bike skill-building drills, and a guided 3- to 4-mile ride on city streets.
