Though rarely 100% predictable, if volunteering during the colder months, it's often useful to bring a project along, just in case things are quiet.
Further, those volunteering are very welcome to work on donated bikes or help with some of our regular off-season upkeep tasks around the shop.
Lastly and as shared a few weeks ago, a quieter Sunday can be an opportunity to spend a little more time on a slightly deeper dive into general-maintenance questions or practicing a new skill on a donation bicycle.
If things become busy or a volunteer is pulled into something in the middle of such a deeper-dive, we can always pause, picking up later or on a future Sunday.
