Evening, all.

Thirty-one days of bicycles are upon us. Quite a lot coming up, if you'd like to find new ways to spend time on two wheels, or help CC in keeping others rolling -

I. WEEK OF 5/4: Public Hours / Open Shop x2
416 W Huron

The garage door is likely to be reliably open for the season (barring any horizontal rain); shall we help folks work on their bikes for a few hours on Sunday and next Tuesday?

II. WEDNESDAY, 5/14: Bike-to-Wherever Day 2025
8-11 AM, Hanover Square Park (NW corner of Packard and Division)

Coffee&Donits.jpg

Don't drive to work--ride to wherever. (Inc., but not limited to work.).

The area's Bike-to-[Work/Wherever]-Day, organized by The City of Ann Arbor, GetDowntown, and Walk Bike Washtenaw, is taking place on Wednesday, 5/14. This year's event is intended to better accommodate more people who ride, or would like an excuse to ride.

A network of public stations will emerge at 8 AM and be remain until 11 AM (a later start and longer duration this year); folks are invited to drop by as many or as few as they'd like. The full map will be published very soon.

CC will be hosting a node at Hanover Square Park with our friends from RoosRoast and U-M's Office of Campus Sustainability with coffee, breakfast goods and mobile bicycle repair on-offer.

12-4 PM, Gallup Park

The two sides of the river reconnected last year, Huron River Day is returning to Gallup Park for 2025. Common Cycle is once again partnering with the Bike Alliance of Washtenaw to help waterway revellers look over and work on their bikes, as well as to help run the event's Bike Valet service.

If interested in either helping folks work on their bikes and/or some light valeting, please sign up below.
