On Saturday, 4/19, we're partnering with the AAD once again to host a public workshop to help folks who'd like to learn / gain some confidence in the basics of keeping their bike rolling well. (Thanks to Yitah W. for organizing and the AADL for hosting us.)

The format will include a short presentation covering various best-practices, then participants can learn / demo common tasks at three skills-stations -
  1. Bike Ergonomics & Pre-Ride Checks
  2. Wheel Removal / Fixing a Flat
  3. Adjusting & Replacing Brakes
This is open to the public and all are welcome! (No RSVP nor registration needed.) Details also available on the AADL website:

Our friends at Wolverines-on-Wheels are launching a Bicycle Recycling project to help provide U-M departing students with easy donation options for bikes they'll no longer need, as well as seeking donations from the broader community.

They're aiming to collect 25 serviceable, adult bicycles in April-May toward refurbishing and making these available to their fellow U-M students in Fall, 2025.

Full details can be found in the attached flyer (.pdf); if you have questions, please email the WoW team at wolverineson...@umich.edu . Their dropoff dates / events are below:
