Smart Cycling Short Course: Saturday, August 8
The Bicycle Alliance of Washtenaw is running a pilot course for folks who want to feel more confident riding on city streets. This Smart Cycling Short Course is designed to help adults and teens navigate real-world riding environments safely and confidently.
Participants will learn practical skills for riding safely in traffic, understanding different types of bike infrastructure, and making confident decisions on the road. The course includes a mix of brief instruction, on-bike skill-building drills, and a guided 3- to 4-mile ride on city streets.
This course is intended for riders who can already safely operate a bicycle on their own, and registration is required.
