Hello, everyone. Pardon a longish note this week -

I. Sunday, 2/20: Public Hours

Working on bicycles on Sundays continues this Sunday from 11 AM-3 PM - please sign up to volunteer, if you're free or would like a few hours off from whatever commitments you might have.

Volunteer Signup, Weekly Public Hours:
--------

II. Sunday, 2/20: Steering Committee Meeting
Our monthly steering committee meeting is taking place this Sunday from 3:30-5:30 PM. If you're interested in joining, please email in...@commoncycle.org and we'll ensure you have the Zoom link. All are welcome.

(Note: Normally runs from 4-5:30 PM, but extended this month due to some annual administrative tasks.)
------

III. 2/21-2/27: Community Parts Giveaway

Following some off-season organizing, we've identified a number of parts and accessories which will be available to the community at no cost (though donations are welcome).

Our goals are to (a) clear surplus items toward making room in Common Cycle's limited space for higher-need / higher-utility items. and (b) return these items to the community / hopefully finding them homes so they can be put back into use (inc. ratbikes and/or installation art).

  1. Items available at no cost (though donations are welcome)
  2. Open for rummaging during published hours only.
  3. Parts are in used condition and are as-is. Items have generally been reviewed for safety/viability, and some do need maintenance attention before being ready for active use. If there's something you'd like to adopt and it may need some attention, you're very welcome (as always) to rely on CC resources (tools, volunteers, etc.).
  4. Our usual safety protocols continue to apply (masks required, social distancing encouraged, full vaccination required of in-person volunteers, capacity limit of ~12 at one time).
