Also, from the New-Printed-Reference Materials Dept - two new charts have been posted in the shop:
- The chart of bike tire sizes from Sheldonbrown.com: This can help folks understand key terms like Bead Seat Diameter (BSD) to help in sizing tires. (The scope of this chart is tire diameter (which must match rim diameter). Tire width is constrained by frame, fork, and brake clearance, for which there's unfortunately no handy / easily-printed guide.)
- A list of common hub spacing dimensions: The spacing of a frame where the rear wheel fits corresponds to the over-locknut dimension (O.L.D.) of a given wheel (also sometimes called "hub spacing"). Understanding this can be helpful when replacing a front or rear wheel.
