CWL v1.2.1 Barn Raising event mid-week update:

Everyone is still welcome to participate; attendance at the check-in meetings is optional.

Progress so far

1. Merged Clarify $() and ${} by Bruno P. Kinoshita (@kinow)

2. Merged Instructions for writing new conformance tests written by Michael Crusoe (@mr-c) with reviews from Rupe Nash (@rupertnash)

3. Merged ArraySchema.items: add typeDSL & other cleanups merged (@mr-c)

4. Merged test for nested directories and initial workdir requirement by Rupe Nash (@rupertnash) 

5. We (Rupe, Michael, and Peter) decided that https://github.com/common-workflow-language/cwl-v1.2/issues/86 would require somewhat big changes to how cwltest works, and have deprioritized it (unless someone is very keen and completes the necessary work in time, it won’t go in v1.2.1)

6. Iacopo Colonnelli reported Wrong assumption on conformance test 309 (secontaryfiles/rename-inputs.cwl) and Peter Amstutz (@tetron) opened Adjust behavior of command_input_file_expression in response

7. Merged Consolidate containers used
