TogetherGreen Innovation Grants

TogetherGreen Innovation Grants support creative and ambitious projects
that engage diverse communities to find innovative solutions to
environmental challenges. This one-year grant funds projects that:
* Conserve or restore habitat and protect species, improve
water quality or quantity, and reduce the threat of global warming
* Engage new and diverse audiences in conservation actions
* Inspire and use innovative approaches and technologies to
engage people and achieve conservation results
Grants go to organizations within the Audubon network that are working
with partners in their communities, and that have the passion,
commitment, and vision to move people to take action and achieve lasting
conservation results. If you are interested in applying, but your
organization is not part of the Audubon network, you are encouraged to
find an Audubon group to partner with. If there are no Audubon groups in
your area, your organization may apply with other partners.
At least 40 grants ranging from $5,000 to $80,000, with an average
grant size of $25,000, will be awarded in 2012. Requests above $25,000
are likely to face considerably more competition than requests below
that amount. There will also be three to five planning grants of $5,000
or less awarded.

Apply by April 2, 2012.
