I can't get the extension to work at all.

Hi there,

First of all, thank you for developing this extension. I was very excited to find it, and if I can get it working, it will simplify my workflow a lot. I added it to my extensions, and it is on my toolbar. But when I try to leave a comment, nothing happens. I can't copy anything into the comment box, and I am not sure what is supposed to be happening when I type a comment. I've restarted Chrome, but it didn't help. I'd appreciate any suggestions about what I might be doing wrong. Thanks!

Hi Rebecca,

Can you tell me which sites you are trying the extension on? It
doesn't work on all sites as of now.

Try it on facebook, youtube, sites like those and let me know if that
works for you.

Thanks  for your quick response Shayan. I just tried it on Facebook and on Youtube, and it still didn't work.

hmm. Here's what the extension is supposed to do:

When you type something in a comment box on facebook/youtube/etc., my
extension keeps a copy of whatever you write in case you lose it.

When you type something in a facebook comment box, you can look it up
by clicking on the "C" icon in the upper-right. It should show you
what you wrote and also give you a link to where you wrote it.

Hi Shayan,

I just wanted to thank you for your help and update you on my issue. I have Comment Save working now, and it's great!

It turns out that a couple of other things were acting buggy, including my favorite writing program OmmWriter, which wouldn't start. I had to do a reformat, and after everything was set-up again, Comment Save worked just the way you describe. Thanks again!
