Commcare-export tool: Getting parent case id

Hello all,

So I'm using the commcare-export tool and trying to get the case's parent case id, but I have no idea how to get it. I have tried multiple ways so far

   

parent_case_id	parent_case_id
parent_case_id1	parent.parent_case_id
parent_case_id2	properties.parent_case_id
parent_case_id3	properties.parent.parent_case_id
parent_case_id4	parent_case.parent_case_id
parent_case_id5	properties.parent_case.parent_case_id
parent_case_id6	parent_cases.parent_case_id
parent_case_id7	parent_cases.properties.parent_case_id
parent_case_id8	properties.parent_cases.id
parent_case_id9	properties.parent_cases.parent_case_id
parent_case_id10	parent.case_id
parent_case_id11	properties.parent.case_id

None of these exported any kind of id. Any idea what I should be using?

Hi Johann

Thanks for you question. Here are the fields you that you should use:

Parent case ID	indices.parent.case_id
Parent case type	indices.parent.case_type
