getting old form description over API

Hi,

How can i get the older description of a changed form over the api?

api/v0.5/application/[id] returns only the newest form. If my app has changed (for example: i deleted one question), i must still get the form description for old submissions.

Hi Selim

You can get the detail for old version of the app by using the ID of an application version instead of the ID of the development version of the app.

At the moment it's hard to find the ID of application versions but we'll be releasing a change in the next few days that will add a fields to the application detail view related to application versions.

I will respond to this thread again once that has been released.

Hi Selim

These changes have now been deployed. I've updated the documentation with details: https://confluence.dimagi.com/pages/editpage.action?pageId=18907643

But here's the gist:

Added a 'versions' property to the API output which lists all the application versions (builds).

You can get the application structure by using the same API and supply the ID of an application version.
