I've recently purchased a used boat that is using iViewer4 on a iPad to control an e-plex system. Via a iPlex interface and a iTach TCP<->Serial node.

I need to change the network/DHCP settings on the network (don't ask), but it seems like the iViewer4 has the IP address of the iTach server hard-coded in its gui file (AFAICT).

How can I get and modify this file? All the companies involved in the installation and configuration of the boat, including the boat manufactures, are all defunct. So I can't ask any of them. I assume it's on the iPad someplace? Can I just pull it off somehow?

Secondly, can I modify it w/o needing a license?

Thanks,

-Jon

Go to settings for Iviewer and turn on Remote Debugging (do NOT turn on reload gui layout or assets!)

Launch iViewer.   Use your web browser to go the the IP address that pops up on your iViewer.   You can download the GUI and javascript files from the web browser.   You will not be able to retrieve the artwork files that way though.
