Hi Guys,
Just a simple one regarding Telstra TV if anyone is interested in controlling it and also installing plex on it (as no current app on it), I found how to do it quite easily in a couple of places and thought I would place in one post.
Basically the Telstra Tv is a roku box, therefore i.p control is easy and below is a cut and paste from a Nashon post, after the i.p control JS you will see a description on adding plex.
TELSTRA TV IP CONTROL
Put this in your main.js (use IP of your roku / telstra tv instead):
function doKeypress(key) {
CF.request(
"http://192.168.0.200:8060/keypress/"+key, "POST", null, function(status, headers, body) {
CF.log("status="+status+", body="+body);
});
}
Put this in your button js field:
doKeypress("Home");
The above is for the home key; for each button ,replace that word with the relevant word from the protocol here:
http://sdkdocs.roku.com/display/sdkdoc/External+Control+GuidebHere are the other possible words you will find in section 3.3 (Valid Keys) at the link above:
Home
Rev
Fwd
Play
Select
Left
Right
Down
Up
Back

ADDING PLEX
Adding plex is quite easy, firstly you need to set up Telstra TV to be working as normal, you will also need to know the ip address of your Telstra TV, and lastly you will need the zip file attached. (Please note once in developer mode only one developer app can be added.)
After you have the above you will need to enter your Telstra TV into developer mode to do this enter the below with the remote buttons this may take a couple of times but persist and it will work eventually, also I had more luck using the remote than ip commands entering developer mode.
Home, Home, Home, Up, Up, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right
Once you have entered developer page an ip address will appear with a request to enter installer and once entered another page will appear with the usual agreement. Once you have enabled developer mode the Telstra Tv will reboot and there will be no noticeable difference.
The next step will be to add the plex app, this part requires PC, enter the ip address of the Telstra tv into the your browser on the PC and a pretty plain looking developer page will appear (note safari didn't want to play well with the upload of the app for me so I used firefox)
Once you have this page there is button to upload a zip file, use the attached zip file and after clicking upload it will advise it is successful. check your Telstra TV box and you will see a plex classic app now there.
If any one interested quite happy to do a better write up in the wiki with some screen shots, just request back on this post. Please note all this information is in numerous places on the internet I have just placed it in one post for ease, also this process literally took me 15 minutes.
