ftp to Amx Master

hello guys.. What ftp program are you guys using to upload gui to a netlinx master? Can anybody ping me with a step by step instructions on how to do this please :) and what ftp program you guys are using...

Nothing related to AMX, but FileZilla is what I use mostly for FTP duties.

Use any FTP application to connect to the AMX Master.

The standard login is:

User: administrator

Pass: password

upload files to root

Vmail what FTP program do you use I tried using smart ftp but it didnt work right another post told me the user name is Netlinx and password is password...?

I used filezilla client tried connecting as administrator and used password but would not connect any other suggestions,,,

I tried port 1319 and port 21 still not working :(

it's port 21 - standard FTP port.

Do i need to login to my browser to the master to set a password or will it work without one

Guys I finally got the filezila ftp client to work there is some things you need to do to setup the ftp client that was not metioned anyways what module are you guys using the test one or the rev02?

I gave up on it as it was not fit for purpose, it was taking a long time after 1st boot (That was the original version)

where you able to get feedback on the buttons? i can get feedback on the text but not on the buttons and my commands go to the master fine. when you send the gui file via ftp is it just the gui file or is it something else?

yea. it took 5 minutes for first boot. But it's one of the evils one learns to live with.

Normal AMX boot time on the processor is about 3 minutes but the module added another 2 minutes. I didn't like it
