Do we have to load specific fonts into the iphone itself for them to
work? I set the fonts in guiDesigner to GUILink Transports for the
active and inactive states but on the phone they show up as normal
text (looks like Verdana).

Hi Steve,

Sorry for the lack of guiDesigner documentation at this stage. It's
being worked on, but time to document is very scarce at the moment.

For fonts, you can only use the fonts built into the iPhone, I have
listed them below.

For transport icons, you can use the built in "overlay browser". When
editing a button on a page, click the "overlay browser" button (near
the bottom of the button properties dialog).
This overlays an image onto the button. We have converted all our
GuiLink Transports Font into images for this purpose. The images are
actually found in the "overlays" folder in the location where
guiDesigner is installed and you are able to design your own custom
transport sets and add them to that folder - they will then show up in
the Overlay Browser.

I recommend having a look at our free guiDesigner template - available
from our downloads section of our website (www.commandfusion.com/
downloads) - to become more familiar with the guiDesigner environment.

Thanks,

Jarrod

Hi
Little out of topic may be, but I have some problem with the fonts and coding in iViewer from javascript. What I need to do for write the text lable in russian language from js?
If I send CF.setJoin("s<number of text>", "<some words on russian language>") after that I have all the same symbol in text label. How can I solve the problem with coding?
P.S. If I send
CF.setJoin("s<number of text>", "<some words on russian language>") from Button Properties > JavaScript - no problem with russian text.

Which type of coding used in CF? How can I replace it to Win1251, CP866, UTF8 or something else which will be working with the russian text?

Make sure your .js text files are edited AND SAVED using UTF-8. This should solve your problems.
