As has been mentioned before in other threads, i am getting a pause/jerk at each subpage boundary when I have built my list using JS to push 20 subpages onto my list. (Thanks, Jarrod, for teaching me how to do this)  Each subpage at the jump shows a join trace in debugger, displays the 10 or so digital joins on the buttons as state 0, and S0 as state zero 10 times.  This occurs at the exact moment of the pause (makes sense).

If i build a wide subpage with all my 200 buttons on it and put it in the header (no JS), the list is smooth, and no join updates occur either.  I dont know if updates and the pause are related.

I am getting a pixel position feedback on list motion, so if necs I can build a big subpage with precise locations so I can re-position the buttons to genre boundaries, but that is a ton of work.

My goal is to use my boundary bump logic to make sure each Genre group is fully on-screen.

It would be nice to use the subpage stack method, but not if it is gonna jerk at the boundaries.

I have checked my graphics sizes they're ok.
I have tried with next and iViewer 4.
Gui Designer 2.5.1.424

You said that you have checked your graphics, but, check again. Jerky list has most often for me been caused by an image in wrong size. That is a image object that has different dimension than the real pixel size of the image. Getting one pixel off and the image need to be resized on the fly. This is apparently quite heavy for iViewer.

With that said. iViewer lists including images are not as smooth as similar lists in 'native' iOS apps. I have e.g. compared a movie wall in e.g. NetFlix app and that is a bit smoother compared to what I have done in iViewer.

This might be some issue with using 20 different subpages in the list (using the advanced 'subpage' property within the CF.listAdd method), rather than adding 20 of the same subpage (as most lists do).
Can you create a very slimmed down version of your guiDesigner project to just show the issue, then send it to us via the File > Export > Project archive.. and email to support at commandfusion?

Also, what iOS device are you testing with? Using the newer devices will give you much better performance than the original iPad for example.
