I would like to see a object properties manager in a future version of guiDesigner.

You mean like the dialog for managing
system properties? A PropertyGrid for managing GUI objects?
This is something we were considering adding, but our focus at the moment is on expanding functionality, rather than re-implementing existing functionality.
