Not sure what has changed on the new update to iViewer.

We have a gui file with no transitions specified between the 6 main
flip pages. It worked well.
After upgrading this morning (Thu 15th April 2010), I notice a fade in
and out between page flips.
This changes the feel and look of my remote. Can I stop the fading?

Also just a suggestion as it has been on my mind here goes. . .

The "launching" screen could be simpler. (No need for fancy graphics)

There is no theme to the whole application.
iViewer starts with "Launching" (and a beautiful particle cloud) but
if you have a pink remote interface, then it all looks out or place.

Would it not be more beneficial if the “iViewer” side of things are as
simple and unobtrusive as possible?
This provides a neutral basis for the varying gui files out there.

As an example, I never felt comfortable deploying XBMC (although there
are many skins out there).
When BOXEE came along the curved rectangles and clear background gave
the application a very mature look. (as you know the code is mostly
identical to XBMC's)

Please take this in the spirit in which it is given.
iViewer is great.

P.S. we could have it the current “Launching” screen on the lite
version only :-)

Hi,

I have the same problem here. Since the new update I have an
transition fade in an out between the pages. I have reuploaded the
project to the iphone but the fadeing is still there.

As there have been no responses from Command Fusion, should I assume the
new and default transition for iViewer is fade in and fade out?

We are looking into this.
Default should just be a clean page flip, no transition at all. We
will fix it for next release if we find this to not be the case.

Noticed the same issue with a subpage menu bar fading in every time
the page changes.
