Hi Guys, everyone can help me, please?

I am using a javascript from i an iviewer project, that Barry was shared with me, i working on this script a few months and is running very well, but when i was added it on a new iviewer project this script is not found or is not running on JS log (Safari). Appear that is not linking to a new iviewer project.

Log on Safari:

> Javascript interface up and running, opening connection with iViewer
> Established connection with iViewer
> Javascript starting up. iViewer version: v4.0.242 build 242
****as you can see the script was not found****

I using the folow structure:

Main folder -> Iview file
Main folder/javascript -> NewProject.JS
I was included the NewProject.JS on the Project Structure on Script Manager.

Exist a other reference or linking that i need to include on my new project?
Please let me know how can i fix it.

BR
Alex

Please open up the development console in your browser debug session so that you can see if any JS errors are printed.
More info on debugging is here: http://commandfusion.com/docs/scripting/debug.html#debugging_JavaScript

Hi Jarrod. I was open the JS debug. As I made in a old project. I need to set any information to each project?
If I using the same script in a old iviewer project I can see on debug log all the steps that I was setting on this script.

If there are no changes, it will work so long as you've added the script to your project, and no other scripts interfere.

This will happen if your script module has a syntax error.  Not the only reason, but one of the most common

Try to see if in the old project you are starting the script in other place like in the main function (something like var myscript = new script(...))
If your script is a module you will have to create the instance, not only insert the script in the project.

Hi Guys thanks a lot for assistance.
I will make more tests today.

Barry I was change the script name and updated the name, the same that I change, on script manager, on the same script that you made on your gui interface , after it I had a same diagnostic. The debug was not found and when I was pressed any bottom it I'll increase a error.

If you want take your whole project and put it in a single folder (all resources, graphics, etc) and use sendspace.com to send it to me.  I will take a look at it and tell you if I find anything. Just use my email address (my mailbox is barry and I own the domain "the-gordons.net") and they will send me the download link.

Hi Guys, i posting to update this item.
I found how about was happended with my JS.

Its very important to see the asset folder on the specific project. I was created a folder structure on my project folder, like resources and scripts, when i initially included my final JS, but when was initiated and organized the pictures on resources folder the Iviewer asked me if i want to move all the files to the resource folder. It was included my javascript under JAVASCRIPT FOlder originally. I am didnt see it and in my mind the current script was it one located on my JAVASCRIPT Folder. I continue to change a invalid JS after it.

Pay atention when you change the project or initiate a new project that you use old folder and files from a other project.

BR
Alex
