Hi
Can someone here confirm if the codes to control the HD33 projector over RS232 its something like that ?
~0000 1\x0D for power on
~0000 2\x0D for power off
My client will get the projector in two days, i want to make the codes and left the interface done, but since i cant test is hard to know if this is the right code.
Very thanks for the help
Clayton

Thanks Terence
This a strange protocol, i am trying to figure out how to get the feedback since many of data in the feedback its equal, something like OK1, OK2... for all the request, its a weak protocol.
I believe that i will have to split this in several functions or create a flag for each request.
Very thanks for your help, like always.
Clayton

How can I parse this feedback coming from a kramer panel:

Serial command send:

[00] [00] [00] [0E] [ID*] [00] [00]

Serial Response:

[00] [00] [00] [0E] [ID*] [00] [01] [LIGHT*]

Where ID the number of the knob is and LIGHT the status (01 or 00)

I’dd try something like:

\x00\x00\x00\x0E\x01\x00\x01\x(\d)

But this will not work.

Thanks in advance!

\x00\x00\x00\x0E\x01\x00\x01(.)

Thanks Jarrod but how do I set the feedback?

Type serial? target digital? With on match value settings?

Where can I found a PDF with the feedback parsing codes and handling?

Thanks in advance!

Create a capture group item, not an onmatch.
Enter data type of analog and target type of digital.
Then make sure "hex data" is set to hex byte mode (because you are capturing hex bytes) - this will convert the captured \x00 or \x01 byte to a decimal value of 0 or 1, which is then assigned to the digital join to set it high or low.

Jarrod,

Thank you for your feedback!

I did not get it work yet but I don’t trust the codes in the manual because other codes are working well.

Thanks a lot!
