I'm having trouble subscribing to http://feeds.thecommandline.net/cmdln
with MyPod, a podcatcher for Android: http://my-pod.org

I see it in my list of feeds but I can't view the contents of the feed
or download any episodes.

I'm using the free version of the app. I'd be curious to know if anyone
can replicate this problem.

Thanks,

Phil

p.s. Most of the podcasts I listen to work fine in MyPod but I have
trouble with this one too:

p.p.s. Thomas, I see from http://thecommandline.net/2013/01/29/history/
you're coming to http://www.northeastlinuxfest.org which is only a block
from my office! Please let me know if you'd like to meet up!

Hrm, strange. It works fine in BeyondPod--let me check the validation
of that feed and maybe download MyPod and try to replicate the problem.

Only thing I can think is there is a validation error that some
catchers would have trouble with or the size of the file may be an
issue. I keep it trimmed to just under 512KB as anecdotally larger
files cause some tools problems.

I can also put a call out to folks via the cast itself, which wouldn't
reach anyone having the problem but could help find another user who
is using and for whom it does work, against which we can compare.

Yes, most certainly. I am flying up mid-day Friday and staying through
Sunday night. I believe my talk is on the schedule for Sunday, not
sure what, if any, other commitments I have a speaker, yet, but will
let everyone know as I know.

Hmm, you're right.

And this is much slicker than MyPod. :)

Thanks!

Oh! You're speaking! Nice. I'm having trouble finding your talk on
http://www.northeastlinuxfest.org though.

I admit it isn't for everyone, Andrea for one doesn't like BeyondPod
very much. I will still double check the feed as it is possible that
there is still a problem that needs fixing.

Sure!

There was a post a few weeks ago with the tentative schedule. That
grid included me and I have been corresponding with the organizer,
Jonathan Nadeau, for a few months now about it. Hopeful the program
will be made clearer closer to the date.
