Hey Guys,
Here's an idea we threw out for the podcast - it would look something like this:
1. Pick a topic/Get a few related questions to ask people
2. Contact people to set up a few minute interview - basically just ask one question.
3. As a group we do an intro/outro, put it together. (these could be split into two groups or whatever)
So, let's throw out some topic ideas and questions to go along with it. For example: Burqa Ban in France. Questions: Ask a professor what they see this meaning for religious freedom in Europe. Ask a Muslim student what she would think if this happened in the U.S. Then we'd also need the contact name of the Prof and the student.
So, what are your ideas and whats our timeframe? Lets nail down a topic through email and talk about it on Monday if we can. Then hopefully we can contact our interviewees and set up a time to record them next week. I'm going to email Michelle and see if we can use class time on Friday to do that (she said no this Friday when we asked, but then after class she misunderstood and said yes we could, if we were going to Media Commons... but we don't need to go there, so I'll clarify).
It should only take time to record the interviewees, record our intro, and put it together. Really shouldn't take long. We have class time both this Friday and next friday, so I'm sure we can get it done before Thanksgiving.
What do you think our topic should be, and do you know any contacts who would be willing to answer our question??
Thanks - Tori
