Firstly, I think of Christmas Day and the Santa Claus which are famous all over the world and some kind of region will also treat it as a holiday. As my experience, except for the countries which has the tradtions to celebrate the Christmas, in other counties they just have fun and they have a good time in that day. I think that's good, people can release themselves from the pressure of the reality.
Secondly, it remind me of celebration of Valentine,  I know Vanlentine is a person but I don't know the story of this person or the reason why a huge amount of people or lover will celebrate this holiday which is still good I think. People will also spend some time to have fun.
The last thing I come up with is the NBA which is National Basketball Association, actually it's famous all over the world because of the high level picking rookie from all over world. At least, people who don't like watching baskerball know what NBA and some of the most popular super stars like Kobe, Leborn or Tracy etc.

Im not exactly sure about the stereotypes of American popular culture. But I guess the things are very different and influence the other countries negatively.

Such as,  black and white are always the topic of popular culture. They have discriminations and many bad histories happened. So it makes the other countries also have some same opinions to treat the black people. Im not sure it is right. I guess.

In my opinion, the Hollywood movies are the most important way to export american culture to other countries. When we are in own country, we almost have no change to access american culture. We rarely know about America. The only way to access American culture that is the American movies, and we all like American movies, because Americans always can bring us surprise. For instance, Titanic was a wonderful moive in 1997, at that time the whole world was crazy about that moive, people were impressed by the scene of the movie. And Titanic also successfully expressed a romantic and tragic love story. After that, Hollywood also never stop to creat much better movies. When in 2002, Hollywood introduced the Spider-Man, which made people know the heroism of American culture. There are so many moives, which have different themes, but they all have one purpose to spread American culture. Actually, we truely got a lot. Like we all konw America is a free land, people have free will, they care about human rights, they pursue the integrity, and so on. I like American movie, and I also like American culture, because I am influenced by American movies. We can call that the culture invasion. Anyway, American moives is part of our lives, we almost can't lose it.

U.S. ‘s cultures influence the world a lot. First, the most popular culture that influences the world may is American English. It just because U.S.’s economic status and technology is more developed than any other countries. In China, most people speak American English. The second thing is cartoon, the famous Disney cartoon Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck affected several generations deeply all over the world. Especially the 1980’s generation, it seems the happiest thing was sitting in front of the TV and watch Disney cartoon in that era. Even now, the Disney derivative products are also popular, such as Disneyland, Disney toy. The third thing is basket ball. Almost everyone know NBA no matter who is sports enthusiast or not. Beside these, there are still a lot of American popular cultures, such as Hollywood movies, TV series, Jazz, Hip-hop, R&B and so on.

American unique festival, such like  Halloween and Thanksgiving are very popular in China. Chinese young people really like Halloween party and Thanksgiving shopping promotions.

I think there are many ways to perpetuated the U.S. popular culture to other countries. First of all, US is the most powerful country in the world, so no matter where you are , no matter how old you are or which country you belong to, you should somehow know about even a little bit of US. Also, For most of male teenagers, the NBA should be the most well-known sports in the world. The world is going to more westernized because people are learnning for US.

I think it is modern lifestyle. Americans have very active and hurry lifestyle, don’t like most of Eastern countries. Today, to do business with America, people from other countries have to speed up and have so many changes following American style such as clothes, food, speaking English… We all wear casual clothes of very modern American style everyday, traditional clothes are just saved for special occasions.

The pub culture is perpetuated and exported to other countries. The pub and party culture are very popular in the USA. In my mind, there was very few pubs in the China in the last 20 years. People did not like to drink the foreign wines. However,  nowadays, in China , drinking is becoming a new culture. people like to relax and drink in the pub. even after the business, people will go to the pub and celebrate the business. During the World Cup, people are crazy about drinking in the pub. In conclusion, pub culture is perpetuated by U.S. popular culture and exported to China.

Via U.S. export any every media, including music, movie, and cartoon, and TV programs, stereotypes are perpetuated by U.S. popular culture and exported to other countries. For example, in music, there are some songs including bad meaning about women. Some songs even convey that girls who have large breasts are not smart and flexible. So the songs with stereotypes will insult girls who have large breasts. In movies and TV programs, there is a beautiful girl and will do nothing except asking helps. In cartoons, in Disney’s Princess Series, it seems that girls are all good at doing house works and they are supposed to be elegant and they seems that don’t need to be smart or have some special abilities such as Independence, brave, or creativity. From these media, U.S popular culture export to all over the world and also export U.S. stereotypes without correct opinions about women. It really conveys stereotypes to the world.
