Social Science defining is the most importand I think, through social science defining, culture is learned and shared patterns of perception.Communication is based on people knowing other's patterns of perception. So, social sicence defining can somehow avoid the embarrass between people while they communicat with each other.Social science definitions is influenced by research in psychology  Dechao QI A2872

I think the Critical thinking is more important, a more recent approach to culture, influence by cultural studies scholarship, emphasizes the heterogeneity of cultural groups and the often conflictual nature of cultural boundaries. For example, increasing numbers of people like tiger woods have multicultural identities.

Social science definition is very important. Things belonged to culture have been exist for a long time and known as standard, facts that nobody can do anything to affect. The foundation of culture came from our generation of old people. Long times ago, people accumulated their own experiences in life and retransmitted for the next generations. The retransmission keeps going on through generations, which helps culture alive.

I think the Critical definition is relatively important. As we all know, the world is diyamac, everyday there is always something to be changed. People couldn't be conservative. we are human being. we should accept something new. We can thinging, speaking, talking, and so on, which defined us to be different with other animals. We are intelligent creature. The socity is developing because of we are accepting new things. Espeically in this free land---USA, people are pursuing american dream. A century years ago,Lincoln issued "The black emancipation declaration". About fifty years ago, Martin King made a "I Have a dream" speech. Nowadays, an African-American is the president of this country. We are changing culture everyday. We can accept every kind of culture. We can't discriminate any cultures, because there is no such culture is perfect. They all have their values, which likes us have the personal preference. We learn different cultures, then we can think about one problem in different ways. To me, Critical definnition is very important.

I think interpretive is the most important perspective to understand culture and communication. By using this perspective , we can understand their own culture , their habits, for example : they may drink coffee every morning and it has its significant meaning in their culture.  Via understanding their symbolic significances, we can understand how their culture is  special and understand.

Interpretive definition sounds closer to complete. Emotions of people are taken into consideration while understanding the culture with this perspective.Emotions do play a key role in people culture and one needs to understand peoples emotions and take them into consideration while studying people's cultures. Apart from emotions people's contextual and symbolic gestures a part of Interpretive study. This style of studying is quite important to understand the person which is a part of understanding his/her culture. And as the author says cultures influences the persons communication style which re influences his communication. So I think Interpretive definition is a better way of studying and understanding culture and communication of groups.

.
The transfer of knowledge, information, ideas, emotions and beliefs, and certain related social interaction activities make culture to spread. The cultural exchange and communication for the development of the world culture is very important, and it to maintain the diversity of world culture. For example, in California you can see many of countries people and can eat the food of many countries.

In my opinion, Social science definition is one of significant approaches. It is a kind of phychological thinking. The result of social science is to describe and predict behave. It shows people the differences in different culture. Data and statistics are the important ways of social science to identify the culture. people would be easy to understand the culture by social science. what's more, it is more accurate to learn the culture.
