H-E-B Plan of Action
1. Research: The whole team will conduct extensive research on HEB’s
internal and external communication practices. We will also research
the history of the company, community relations programs, employee
incentive programs, and any relevant information that stands out to us
and might be useful for this project.
2. Our team’s second step will be to collaborate the information we
found during the research step, and sort through what we will be using
for this project.
3. Next, we will contact HEB branch and regional managers to gauge
their willingness and availability to grant us interviews. We will
also inquire about the possibility of us administering surveys and
possible interviews of current employees. The survey and questions
will be approved by the managers, to prevent any problems.
4. Upon approval from the managers, we will draw up a survey and
interview questions for the managers and other current employees. We
will conduct surveys and interviews.
5. Gather all data and information and create an analysis of the
information.
6. Explore the programs we identified as relevant in step 2, write up
an analysis on these programs. Possibly interview or survey people or
customers in the community asking them how they feel about these
programs.
7. Make a video of HEB, the programs they offer, clips and quotes of
interviews for highlights, and a conclusion for our presentation.
8. As a group, we will assign tasks based on need, availability,
interest level, and experience.
