The language in the old version was very enjoyable. Although I like the addition of notes to the new version, I feel they should be placed in endnotes. This would not disrupt the visual flow and reading experience. It has been simplified and amplified by the updates. It does not have the same impact as the old version.
It is annoying that after each chapter, you have to return and choose a new chapter. Maybe that is just me complaining about the imperfect world we live in. The amplified version is my favorite and I am grateful that I can read the Word without fear or hiding. God bless us all
PROS- A finally an amplified Bible that is OFFLINE !...... We haven't yet found another app that does this. It allows you to add notes and change the night/day setting. You can also copy/or share verses. Excellent explanations within the text, and references to other scriptures at the end of verses. CONS: >>> The app reads the text in a robotic voice. It also doesn't give the user the ability to alter speed .... etc, as the description says. For that feature, I will stick with bible gateway app. 5 stars for that feature and the ability to remove ads. The dev told me that there was no way for me to remove ads. I hope they reply .
