SMARTis the only summer program in the nation to have so many great faculty members give a daily seminar. There are seven general topics around which seminars are organized. Faculty members will share exciting advances in their area of experience. Participants will learn about science from the people who made the discoveries. Exciting speakers talk about their experiences and how biomedical research has changed their lives.
During your nine-week stay at Baylor College of Medicine, you will have the option to attend multiple professional development workshops and other events. We organize these events to help you prepare for the next step after you complete your undergraduate education. SMART Program participants have the opportunity to learn about professional development, various career pathways and disciplines of study through seminars and discussion groups including workshops on applying to graduate school or medical school.
Individual career counseling is offered by Baylor faculty and administrators to assist SMART participants in acquiring the information they need to make decisions about setting and achieving goals. Directors from all of the graduate programs and medical school deans invite participants to talk with them on an individual basis about the application process and their career goals.
The SMART Program may organize some events to help students interact such as ice cream socials with graduate students. SMART participants themselves will organize other events such as visits to the zoo, museum, Galveston, and Houston activities like the Fourth of July picnics.
I have a couple of smart campaigns set up to help clean up bad leads. When I look at the results, it says "No activities found," but that was not the case last week. Also, when I look down below, it says 151 Items. I know for a fact there was activities shown in these campaigns last week as I check them daily. The filter is set to None, so I'm not sure what's going on. I've attached a screenshot that shows what I'm talking about. Any help is appreciated!
I have been using Harmony (Hub) with SmartThings for maybe 5 years. I use Harmony Activities in my SmartThings automations. Just two weeks ago SmartThings stopped controlling Harmony activities completely. I figured it was just an integration issue (since Harmony works just fine with IFTTT and Alexa) so I deleted the Harmony linked service in SmartThings, deleted all the left over Harmony activities and deleted the old Harmony SmartApp (which was disconnected anyway and refused to connect). I also deleted the SmartThings service in the Harmony app. Thought I would start with a clean slate.
@TylerDurden The driver mentioned does support activities, it creates them as devices in st that can be controlled & it has a bonus of working completely locally. It also offers direct device control (i.e sending individual ir commands directly to harmony devices - this is something the legacy integration could not do)
Exactly! I have five Harmony hubs. I was able to go into any room with a hub and ask Alexa to turn the TV on using the ST Harmony integration. I believe those days are over. However, it seems like there is hope for an Edge driver. I just need to try and figure out how to load it all up .
I have been given an excel 3 week schedule that I would like to turn into a smart sheet so we may use the form option to populate data. We have different superintendents and would like for them to fill out a form within their grouped category. "Lee Knoth" would be one sub group and Darren E would be the other, and the forms would be the column under their name. So basically have one form for Lee and another for Darren so it populates with in those groupings. Please see in the example below and let me know if anyone has a template or know how to do what I am asking for. Please see in the example below and let me know if anyone has a template or know how to do what I am asking for.
I think you are looking for a combination of forms and reports? Maybe add a column for the superintendents and have each row assigned to a superintendent. Then create a report for Lee and one for Darren. Lee and Darren could do their updates in the report and it would update your worksheet. If they are used to excel, they might appreciate the grid view of a report.
I opened a support ticket, but I can't close this pop-up no matter what I click or what browser I use and I'm wondering if anyone has any insight. I'm LOCKED OUT of my work because of some stupid UI refresh alert. ?
Bitrix24 CRM system prompts you to create smart activities when you close a deal or a lead. By default, a smart activity form is already pre-filled. The deadline is automatically set to three working days. If there is at least one incoming or planned activity in the entity, CRM will not offer to create a new one.
It is important to honor agreements: call on time, send documents for approval. If you close a deal without activities, it will go to the bottom of the kanban after a while. Smart activities increase the chance of a successful deal: it sends a notification and push the deal to the top.
SMART Notebook software uses a technology called TLS 1.0 and 1.1 to protect your data when it's sent over the internet. However, these older technologies now have some weaknesses that make it susceptible to attacks by malicious agents. To ensure your data continues to be safe while using SMART software, SMART Notebook is phasing out the use of TLS 1.0 and 1.1 and implementing new protections.
To avoid potential disruptions and stay aligned with best security practices, SMART recommends updating to SMART Notebook 23 by December 31, 2023. If you don't update by this date, you will see an error message saying, "Trial period has expired" even if you have an active SMART Notebook Plus (SMART Learning Suite) subscription.
For deploying updates to Windows or Mac computers: See the Updating the software chapter of the deployment guide for your operating system. To find the deployment guides, visit the Documents page.
Beyond ensuring your data is secure, SMART Notebook 23 also gives users several improvements that will enhance the user experience. To learn about the new features that come with the latest version, SMART Notebook 23, see the release notes.
Account Sign In is required to create and play some SMART Notebook activities. SMART Notebook 18 software allows you to sign in with your Google or Microsoft account. If you sign in with one of these accounts, you will not have to sign in each time you want to use SMART response 2, Shout It Out! or Monster Quiz. For more information see Account Sign In.
Use the recommended web browsers, device requirements, operating systems and network capacity to ensure the best possible experience with interactive activities and assessments on
hellosmart.com. Some websites must also be white listed before activities on
hellosmart.com will work correctly.
SMART Notebook activities on
hellosmart.com are designed to keep network requirements as low as possible while still supporting rich collaboration. The network recommendation for Shout It Out! alone is 0.3 Mbps per device. A school that regularly uses other Web 2.0 tools should have enough network capacity to run SMART Notebook activities on
hellosmart.com. If activities on
hellosmart.com are used in conjunction with other online resources, such as streaming media, greater network capacity could be required, depending on the other resources being used.

Background: Functional assessment is of paramount importance when mild cognitive impairment is suspected, but common assessment tools such as questionnaires lack sensitivity. An alternative and innovative approach consists in using sensor technology in smart apartments during scenario-based assessments of instrumental activities of daily living (IADL). However, studies that investigate this approach are scarce and the technology used is not always transposable in healthcare settings.
Objective: To explore whether simple and wireless technology used in two different smart environments could add value to performance and rater-based measures of IADL when it comes to predicting mild cognitive impairment (MCI) in older adults.
Methods: Twenty-six (26) cognitively healthy older adults (CH) and 22 older adults with MCI were recruited. Functional performance in a set of five scripted tasks was evaluated with sensor-based observations (motion, contact, and electric sensors) and performance-based measures (rated with videotapes). The five tasks could be performed in any order and were detailed on an instruction sheet given to participants.
