This is the first time I've used Google Groups so if it's sending
single messages when someone has a preference for a daily digest
please let me know. For the time being, new members are getting
management status to tinker away as little or lot as they wish.

It appears there may have been a malfunction with Google and the group
invites a month ago. In which case, inviting other people by email
directly might be a safer option.
