Pittsburgh's Independent Comic Scene

We had a great time last night on the CMU campus talking about the
craft of making comic books and the challenges facing independent
creators.

For anyone who couldn't make it, feel free to throw out any questions
or topics you'd like to discuss.

The iPad seems to be making waves. Any thoughts on selling or
creating specifically for that product?

[DanG]

That seems to be the question nowadays, how to market for the various
readers. Honestly, I haven't given it much thought. I'm usually
focused on trying to put out content on a regular basis, but I suspect
making comics for digital comics platforms is the next phase we'll
have to get ready for.

i'm working really hard on getting my new comic onto the iPad, but none of the iPad comics app distributors have been responsive.
