RHI IS HIRING!
For nearly fifteen years, Red Hook Initiative (RHI) has nurtured young people in Red Hook, Brooklyn, to be inspired, resilient and healthy, and to envision themselves as co-creators of their lives, community and society. Dozens of participants in RHI programs have returned to RHI as staff, and have jump-started careers in youth development from there. The neighborhood hub recently expanded its facility to increase its reach among youth in middle school through age 24, as well as its community building programs.
The organization is rich with recognition - for excellence in nonprofit management, for serving as the epicenter of post-Hurricane Sandy relief, for bridging the digital divide. Just last month, Carmelo Anthony told tech conference-goers how RHI young adults inspired him “on the spot.”

· Employment Coordinator - prepare youth to succeed in the work world
· Social Worker - help youth thrive through socio-emotional support
· Education Coordinator - help high school students achieve their education goals
· Academic Advisors - support academic success through goal-setting and 1:1 tutoring
· Finance Manager - Oversee government contracts - from procurement to compliance to reporting - and accounting systems
· Red Hook WIFI Project Manager - Recruit local businesses to install WIFI equipment and engage them in long-term relationships as potential employers and collaborators
