Hello and hope this message finds you well!
The Center for Health Equity is in the process of recruiting a new Director for the NYC Cure Violence program. The NYC Cure Violence program is the largest Cure Violence program in the country with 17 program providers leading efforts throughout NYC. With its transition to the Center for Health Equity, the NYC Cure Violence program providers will be better connected to the agency’s public health equity goals and will be better positioned to leverage neighborhood-based opportunities.
We are looking to hire an individual who has extensive experience in violence prevention work, can articulate the causation of racial and social inequities, and can navigate a medium to large municipality.
