Introduction to cometd

I am new to cometd. Any documentation regarding setting up the
webserver to setting up the framework to writing applications will be
very much appriciated.

there was a blog posted a few weeks ago.

I have been over promising documentation for a few months now.... but
I will deliver at some stage in the very near future.

Meanwhile, just download jetty-6.1.7 and run the standard
java -jar start.jar

the cometd.war demo is installed by default and you can pick that
apart to see how it works.
