CometD 4.0.7 - Last 4.0.x Release

Hi all,

CometD 4.0.7 has been released.

This is a minor bug fix release, see here for the list of fixed issues:
https://github.com/cometd/cometd/projects/7

This is very likely the last release of CometD in the 4.0.x series.

Users that are still using CometD 4.0.x are encouraged to move to
CometD 5.0.x.
Follow the migration guide:
https://docs.cometd.org/current5/reference/#_migration_40_to_50.

In the next days I will release CometD 5.0.0 which will inaugurate the
CometD 5.0.x series and will be the only actively maintained release
going forward.

Webtide offers commercial support for CometD 4.0.x for those that
cannot move to more recent versions:
